Early morning drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the famous Living Root Bridge — a natural wonder created by guiding rubber tree roots across streams over centuries. Enroute, stop at Nohkalikai Falls, India's tallest plunge waterfall. Continue to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, and explore the eco-friendly community. Afternoon visit Dawki River for boating on the crystal-clear Umngot River. After breakfast, check out and begin the long scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park in Assam (approx. 8-9 hours via Jorhat). Early morning jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceros. Morning safari covers the Western Range (Central Range) — the most productive zone for wildlife sightings. After breakfast, rest and relax. After breakfast, check out and drive towards Tawang via Tezpur. This is one of the most scenic drives in India, crossing the breathtaking Sela Pass at 13,700 feet. Stop at Sela Lake and the sacred Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to a brave Indian soldier of the 1962 Indo-China war. Cross through pristine alpine landscapes, snow-capped peaks, and Buddhist prayer flags. Arrive at Tawang by evening. Check-in to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), one of the largest monasteries in the world and the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.
